As lead and co-counsel, Michael Meyer has been involved in more than 100 cases involving personal injury, wrongful death and business disputes.

In Crown Central Petroleum Corporation v. Garcia, Mr. Meyer successfully persuaded the Texas Supreme Court to change the law concerning apex depositions.

Mr. Meyer served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service from 1969-1975. He received a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication from the University of Houston in 1975, a Master of Arts in religious education from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1978, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston in 1987. As a law student, he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi fraternity and Associate Editor of the University of Houston Law Review in 1986-1987.

After being admitted to the Texas Bar in 1987, he was also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas in 1988, the U.S. District Court, Western and Northern Districts of Texas in 1989, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas in 1995, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2001.

Mr. Meyer joined The O'Quinn Law Firm in 2001. His practice consists primarily of commercial civil litigation.
