The firm's Managing Attorney Christian A. Steed also maintains a personal injury docket. Mr. Steed's many accomplishments include serving as co-counsel in a successful declaratory judgment action filed against then governor George W. Bush and the Department of Public Safety involving First Amendment protection for citizens assembling on public sidewalks. He has also won a jury verdict against a major pharmacy chain.

Mr. Steed also focuses considerable attention on nonprofit organizations and assumes much of the firm's pro bono work. His previous experience includes positions in both the nonprofit sector and in various political campaigns, including eight years as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator John Tower in Washington and Austin.

Mr. Steed has served as president of the Texas Center for Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education, a residential treatment facility for disturbed and aggressive adolescents at high risk of failure.  He served on the board of directors and as president of Bo's Place, a unique program that offers grief support groups for children 4 to 18 years of age and their families who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling.

He has served as Director of Alumni Affairs, Tulane University; Director of Development, International Facility Management Association Foundation; and Director of Children and Youth Ministry, Gethsemane United Methodist Church.

Mr. Steed earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Tulane University; a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University; and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center.
