Charles E. Soechting is an attorney at the San Marcos and Houston offices of The O'Quinn Law Firm. Licensed since 1981, Soechting has a solid history in the preparation, litigation and trial of many types of complex lawsuits. Today, Soechting's practice focuses on the preparation and trial of complex commercial cases, including the representation of doctors in contract disputes. Soechting's background as a Texas Highway Patrolman has also assisted him and John O'Quinn in representing many motorists who have been injured and killed by the negligence of the trucking industry. Soechting earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Southwest Texas State University and his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. He was named the recipient of the 1981 George T. Barrow Award, which is awarded annually to the student who, in the opinion of the Dean, will become an outstanding future attorney.
